Pilar Crespo

She studied acting at the Institute of Dramatic Arts in Seville, from which she graduated in 2000.
Then, she moved to Madrid to study Acting for Film and television at the Institute of Cinema, graduating in 2005.

Besides, she completed her academic formation with several interpretation courses with:

Will Keen, Miguel Narros, José Carlos Plaza, Juan Carlos Sánchez, Benito Zambrano, Cristina Rota, Eduardo Fuentes, Omar Pacheco, Ricardo Iniesta o Akira Matsui, and so on.

Moreover, she has also studied flamenco dancing, singing, accordion and cajón (spanish percussion).

She has participated in different theatre productions such as “Romeo X Julieta” (Centro
Andaluz de Teatro),”Medea” (Festival de Teatro Clásico de Mérida),”Don Juan en los
Ruedos” (La cuadra de Sevilla) o “DJ Peep Show” (Excéntrica producciones), and many others.

She made her film debut with a supporting role in the film “Dejate caer”, she has also appeared in other movies, and in several TV series in Spain.

In 2005 she founded her own Theatre Company: Teatro del rastro. The company has produced four different plays.
The one which is currently on tour is “A solas”, a Monologue performed by Pilar Crespo where she plays four different parts.
